The Hyundai lineup now includes some of the most compelling models in the industry, boasting attractive accommodations, abundant practicality, enjoyable drivability, and sharp style. Hyundai cars and Hyundai SUVs are also nicely equipped with many desirable amenities and cutting-edge tech features. With well-rounded vehicles spanning the most popular segments, Hyundai has options to meet a wide range of needs and lifestyles. Here's a quick rundown of what's new for the automaker in 2025.

2025 Hyundai SUVs

    • 2025 Venue: Hyundai's smallest model carries over mostly unchanged aside from the addition of a new Mirage Green paint color.

    • 2025 Kona: The Kona was fully redesigned just last year, including a larger interior, upgraded tech, and more cargo space. For 2025, the Kona adds an "N Line S" trim, providing a more affordable way to access the more powerful engine. Additionally, the Convenience package is now a standalone trim called "SEL Convenience."

    • 2025 Tucson: Hyundai's quintessential compact crossover continues its fourth generation but sees a significant mid-cycle refresh. Alterations include sharper styling, a more refined interior, and upgraded technology, including a larger 12.3-inch standard touchscreen and a newly available head-up display.

    • 2025 Santa Fe: The Hyundai Santa Fe saw a significant overhaul in 2024, entering its fifth generation with a ruggedly handsome new look, more sophisticated interior trappings, and an extra row of seats. For 2025, the Santa Fe is mostly unchanged, save for a new Atlantis Blue exterior color option.

    • 2025 Palisade: For 2025, the rugged XRT trim gets a few new driver aids, including Parking Distance Warning – Front and a Surround View Monitor. Additionally, last year's Premium package is now a standalone trim level named "SEL Premium."

    • 2025 IONIQ 5: Hyundai's game-changing compact electric crossover receives a bevy of updates for the 2025 model year, including increased battery capacity (from 77.4 to 84.0 kWh), which, in turn, increases the model's maximum range from 303 to an EPA-estimated 318 miles. The IONIQ 5 also sees a light exterior style refresh and the adoption of the NACS charging standard. However, the most significant changes are perhaps the new trim levels. The rugged XRT trim features increased ground clearance, all-terrain tires, protective cladding, and more. There's also a new high-performance IONIQ 5 N version with 601 horsepower (up to 641 temporarily), stickier tires, larger brakes, and more.

  • 2025 Santa Cruz: Hyundai's unique "Sport Adventure Vehicle" remains in its fourth generation but gets a midcycle refresh, including more assertive exterior styling and a new panoramic curved display option (standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, available 12.3-inch instrument panel). The XRT is more adventure-ready than ever, sporting updates like all-terrain tires, tow hooks, enhanced navigation, and the standard Activity package. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work wirelessly, and the new OTA update capability ensures you always have access to the latest infotainment features.

2025 Hyundai Cars

    • 2025 Elantra: After a style refresh just last year, the Hyundai Elantra enters 2025 with only a few trim changes. SEL models are now called "SEL Sport," and the Convenience package is now its own tier called "SEL Convenience."

    • 2025 Sonata: Hyundai's midsize sedan was significantly updated in 2024, including a bold new look, redesigned infotainment, and a new all-wheel-drive option. As such, the Sonata sees only a few changes in 2025, including the return of the base SE trim. Additionally, the Convenience package is now the standalone "SEL Convenience" trim level.

  • 2025 IONIQ 6: Hyundai's stylish midsize electric sedan is mostly unchanged for 2025. However, the Limited trim now has a new head-up display.
