The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has taken a bold new leap into the future with a completely new interior and an exterior design that's a refreshing departure from last year's model. The wheelbase has been extended, the front overhang has been reduced and with three rows of seating capacity, there's a lot more room for your family. The newest edition of the Hyundai Santa Fe is expected to arrive in the spring of 2024.
Trim levels in the new Hyundai Santa Fe and Santa Fe Hybrid
The gas-powered Hyundai Santa Fe offers buyers from The Woodlands a total of five trims to choose from: the SE, the SEL, the XRT, the Limited and the Calligraphy model. The hybrid version comes in three different flavors: The SEL, the Limited and the Calligraphy.
Engines and performance in the Hyunda Santa Fe
Every non-hybrid Hyundai Santa Fe is powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that can deliver 277 horsepower. Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is an available option. Last year's fully-loaded turbocharged Calligraphy model reached 60 mph in 6.0 seconds and the 2024 model should come in at about the same time. EPA fuel economy numbers haven’t been announced but last year’s model was good for 28 MPG on highways around Spring and Huntsville.
Powertrains and performance in the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid
All Hyundai Santa Fe hybrids for 2024 combine a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to give you a combined 232 horsepower. Every version runs with a standard six-speed automatic with all-wheel drive and the time from zero to 60 mph is 7.6 seconds. Once again, fuel efficiency estimates for the hybrid haven’t been released but the 2023 hybrid delivered stellar numbers of 36 mpg in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.

The strong, squared-off look of the exterior is reflected in an interior that's designed with dramatic rectangles. There’s plenty of room for the available dual wireless charger that can energize two smartphones in the center console. Second- and third-row seats fold flat and the climate control knob lets you adjust temperatures for family members in the back. You can fit a backpack or a purse through a wide-mouth pass-through under the center console and our Montgomery buyers will find large cubbies at the bottom of the door panels.
Technology in the 2024 Santa Fe and Santa Fe hybrid
A pair of 12.3-inch displays dominate the dashboard with one display serving as an infotainment touchscreen and the other as a gauge cluster. Hyundai wisely kept physical knobs for things like audio volume and climate control to make the system easier for real humans to use. Wireless smartphone charging comes standard on both the gas-powered and hybrid models.
